    Hi there,

I’m having some trouble with my website’s SEO analysis and was hoping you guys could help me out. Specifically, I’m having issues with the WWW canonicalization and how to fix it so that the WWW and non-WWW versions of my URL are redirected to the same site.

Do you have any advice on how to tackle this issue? I’d really appreciate any insights or recommendations you can share.

Thank you in advance for your help!

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

This is because it’s a subdomain. WWW prefixes for subdomains won’t work.

It doesn’t work because www.subdomain.domain.com doesn’t exist. You have to add a CNAME record in your zone subdomain.domain.com the same way you’ve added the host subdomain to domain.com.

You may get in touch with your host with this one or may ignore this test.

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.
