Wrong schema with RM and Reviewer plugin

    Hello!

First of all, thanks for an amazing plugin. Rankmath is such a big Yoast killer and I’m so happy to be using it instead of that bloat!

I’m having a problem. I’m running a board game review site and using Reviewer plugin from Envato for my reviews. Stars showed up fine before Rankmath, because Rankmath is Schema is overwriting Reviewer schema. Most of my articles are reviews, but not all of them. Best would be if I could make the schema be set by category.

I tried setting it to none (the first link), but I think it didn’t help, why would that be? Second one has the defaul Rankmath schema set.

Also, is there a way to bulk edit the schema types, I’ve got quite a few reviews I need to change whatever you guide me to do!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I checked the page you added in the Sensitive Data Section, the page is not showing the Rank Math schema since it’s set to none.

Also, if you are using schema from theme then you can disable Rank Math Schema completely by disabling the Schema ( Structured Data ) module in Dashboard >> Rank Math >> Modules.

And as far as Review schema is concerned you can no longer use it as standalone, you have to have a review of something. So that could be the reason, why Google is not showing star ratings in Search Results. You will find more details here: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-fix-review-schema-errors/

    I hope that helps.

Thanks a lot for the time you spent investigating this issue. I’m afraid I’ve wasted it and I think the plugin itself and the changes I made to “make it work” are the culprit. I must investigate this further, but I think RankMath has nothing to do with the problems I’m facing.

    Thanks for the great plugin!
