Hi,
I have connected RankMath to my Google Search Console & GA4.
The RankMath dashboard is showing wrong data – much less than my GSC stats:* RankMath shows impressions over the last 30 days as 822.2K.
* GSC total impressions over the last 30 days is 1.82M.Please help solve this discrepancy.
Thanks,
Sandip Roy

Hello,
Thank you for your query, and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.
The data fetch cron on your WordPress website may take some time, especially if you have established the connection recently.
Based on your query, some data is already flowing.
The remaining data from your GA and GSC accounts should eventually appear in the Rank Math Analytics dashboard.
If you believe that a sufficient amount of time has passed and something might not function correctly, then please follow the steps below to create a troubleshooting log so that we can check the issue further:
Step #1.
First, add the following filter to your website:add_filter( 'rank_math/analytics/log_response', '__return_true' );Here is a guide you can follow to add the filter:
https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/Step #2.
After adding the filter, please run the pending Scheduled Action from your WordPress Dashboard > Tools > Scheduled Actions > Pending:Step #3.
When some actions have completed running, please check the Analytics log under /wp-content/uploads/rank-math and share that with us.You can use a tool like dropbox for debug log files and share the generated links here.
As for the error log, please share the latest messages with us so we can advise further.
If you’re unsure about the steps, please add your FTP login information in the sensitive data section so we can check.
We hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
Hi Alhan,
Here’s the Dropbox link to the analytics log:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/bpslts6ybbw86mo/analytics-debug.log?dl=0Regards,
Sandip RoyHello,
We checked the analytics debug log shared by you, and verified that all the actual response fetched from Google.
The responses are returning a 200 status code and it means that the data is being fetched successfully.
Since some data is already flowing, the remaining data from your google accounts will appear but it may take some time.
Please allow some time for the data to fetch completely to see if that works for you.
If that does not help, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
Okay.
Let me give it some time.
How long do you think I should wait?Hello,
The fetching process should only take a couple of minutes up to an hour.
If the issue persists on your end, we may need to check the issue on your admin dashboard. Please share your WordPress admin and FTP login as requested in the previous reply.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hi,
I think I found the problem. I disconnected RankMath Analytics from my GA4 and reconnected to Universal Analytics.
The counts immediately increased.
This is the issue – RankMath isn’t tracking the GSC counts properly when it’s connected via GA4.
By the way, I fetched data manually too before disconnecting (and reconnecting).
Hello,
Rank Math should be capable of processing data from GA4 without any issues.
We recommend reconnecting your Rank Math Analytics to your GA4 account again.
Once reconnected, please provide us with 30 or 15 days of organic data from GSC and GA4.
This information will allow us to investigate the issue using our specialized debugging techniques and help identify a proper solution.
For us to debug the root cause we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section as suggested here :
https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/wrong-analytics-data/?view=all#post-566434We hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
