WordPress categories is not getting updated in sitemap

Please make sure you have configured your category sitemaps as shown here: https://rankmath.com/kb/configure-sitemaps/#categories

Also, Rank Math usually excludes empty categories in the sitemap to avoid thin content. Please make sure that your categories are marked as indexed and have posts associated with them.

However, if you really need to include these categories even if they were empty, you can still include them by enabling the option “Include Empty Terms” in the sitemap settings:

Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
