May I know where you’re copying from and is it preformatted? (For example, in Microsoft Word) Chances are, you may also be copying the formatted styles which is why it’s not pasting properly. I’ve tested this on my end by using a notepad and it seems to be working properly:

Would you kindly try plain-pasting? So instead of CTRL + V to paste, try using CTRL + Shift + V instead to plain-paste the text instead.
