  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

It looks like the page was cached and that’s why it was showing the wrong image on Twitter. After validating the page with Card validator, the correct image is appearing:

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

    Hi Rakibuzzaman Siam,

Thanks for getting back to me.

When attempting to use the following link, please see what happens with it.

    See screenshots here:

I have set a social image, and a featured image, but the link shows with one within the article.

You have said that you have resolved this by validating the page with Card validator.

    https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator

I get the following error from this URL:
    https://twitter.com/AttackingFooty/status/1680633958319439872

    INFO: Page fetched successfully
    INFO: 23 metatags were found
INFO: twitter:card = summary tag found
    ERROR: Internal error (Card error)

    Hello,

Upon inspecting the source of the page, I noticed that due to the presence of huge lines of internal CSS styles and scripts, the meta tags section of Rank Math is pushed downwards in the source code.

Many social media platforms look for the OG tags only within the first 60kbs of the page source and if not found, they might ignore the tags even if the tags are in the source code:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/open-graph-image-not-displaying/#num-4-5-ogimage-found-towards-the-end-of-source-code

You can move the internal CSS styles to a separate CSS file to fix this issue.

Also, the Opengraph image you have used for that URL is too big (1080x1080).

Please try rescaling the image down to the recommended resolution (1200px x 630px) and try clearing the cache (server, plugin/theme, or CDN such as Cloudflare) from your site to see if that works for you.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.
