The instant indexing tool is only used for pages that are time-sensitive content or pages that were not indexed previously and you want to index it instantly.

This does not take care of the backlinks since that is an entirely different entity. Backlinks are links from one website to a page on another website through an anchor text. This means that you would need to link your website from another external website.

If you’re referring to the link counters found on your page, you can try resetting them in Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools. In the database tools, click on Delete Internal Links and this can fix the issue. Note that you’ll have to enable the Advanced Mode and these settings will be available to you.
