Video Sitemap and Auto Detect Video customfield not work. - Support

Hello.

I use rank math video schema and video sitemap. The normal schema I added from the schema section works and sees the custom fields and adds them to the site, but in the Auto Detect Video and Video Schema sections, it does not pull information from the custom field in any way. In the custom fields section, there is the mp4 address embed address and duration section that I show on my own site. schema_video = site.com/video.mp4 schema_embed = site.com/embed/1 and schema_duration custom fields are not added. I tried everything but it didn’t work in any way. It does not or cannot get the information from the custom field.

To ensure that Rank Math can detect videos present in custom fields, you need to specify the name of the custom fields to look for. This can be done in the Custom Fields option available under Rank Math SEO → Sitemap Settings → Video Sitemap.

If you’re unable to find the Custom Fields option under Video Sitemap settings, please make sure that you’re using the advanced mode of Rank Math. Once you’ve accessed the Custom Fields option, you can enter the name of the custom fields one per line.

It’s important to note that the Custom Fields option available under Titles & Meta Settings is used for page analysis, while the Custom Fields option available under Video Sitemap settings is used for detecting the presence of videos.

The Video Sitemap is available with Rank Math PRO but the account you have used to open this ticket is the Rank Math free version.

Can you please search and forward a receipt from FastSpring.com or the email address you used to purchase so we can locate your account and verify it?

Meanwhile, ensure that you have followed the steps to add the custom fields in Rank Math > Sitemap Settings > Video Sitemap > Custom fields.

I add custom fields of course, I’m not as newbie as you mentioned. The problem is in rank math source codes.

Please accept that the problem is in the rank math source codes.
