Unable to connect your rank math account

Please follow this guide to connect your website with your Rank Math account.

To connect your website with Rank Math, ensure you are logged in to your Rank Math account.

1 . You can connect your account by navigating to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Dashboard → Help and click the Connect Now button

2 . From the pop-up that follows, click on “OK, Activate Now” Button

3 . Your website is finally connected and you should be seeing something like the image below:

If this doesn’t work, you can try adding a filter code to your website that will bypass the URL check. This might help if there is some issue with your server configuration or DNS settings. The filter code you need to add is below:

 */
add_filter( 'rank_math/registration/do_url_check', '__return_false' );

You can add it to your theme’s functions.php file or use a plugin like Code Snippets.

First of all, the URL http://www.thinkitive.com/blog is redirecting to https://blog.thinkitive.net/blog/ which is a page on the https://blog.thinkitive.net/ domain as you mentioned.

Can you please confirm if https://thinkitive.net/blog/ is the domain you want to connect with your Rank Math account?

We are able to log in to your website with the temporary link shared in the sensitive data section.

We can see that while your domain is https://blog.thinkitive.net/, the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) though identical is http://blog.thinkitive.net/.

Can you please correct the URL to reflect your website domain URL, we do not have permission to set this.

After this, try reconnecting again and see if that works.

Kindly go to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > General and set the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) to the HTTPS version of your site, the HTTP version is currently displayed there and your site has SSL installed, implying the right address is the HTTPS version. We logged in to your site using the provided access details in the sensitive data section.

Upon login, we discovered that there is an issue with the Jannah Theme which is not allowing the connection with Rank Math.

We were able to connect to a Rank Math account in debugging mode without the Jannah theme enabled and it remained connected when the theme was enabled.

The same was observed without the debug mode as well.

This issue is most likely related to a conflict with the Jannah Theme and the workaround we have provided should resolve it.

The issue is with the theme you are using, Jannah Theme. Can you please confirm if you are using the same theme on your other domain? If yes, please switch to a different theme, and you should be able to connect your Rank Math account. You can switch back to the Jannah Theme after connecting the account.

Since it has been determined that the cause of the initial failure to connect is peculiar to Jannah theme you can be sure that your site will remain connected.

If for any reason you have to reconnect your site to Rank Math, all you have to do is use a default theme briefly to connect and then revert to Jannah. Better still you can contact their support and inform them about this. They will be in a better position to fix it and might already have a solution.
