Hello,
I am posting both news articles and blog posts on my site. I am not sure which option would be appropriate for choosing ‘article type’ under Post types and similarly which one to choose under page type. Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.
For your posts, you should consider selecting the default schema to either blogpost or news article depending on how often you use them on your site.
If you’re always creating blogpost than news, then select the blogpost in the default type. Then, you will just need to update the schema for your news article upon editing the post in the schema generator:
The Article Schema type is the most general type of schema which suits your pages. You can also leave it to none if you prefer a different schema or set it up while editing your pages.
