Hello,
I’m sorry to hear about the issue you are facing with Rank Math on your website, causing a critical error when accessing the “post” section in WordPress. This error seems to be related to the recent update of Rank Math.
Since you have already tried the adding snippet solution and the Repair Action Scheduler plugin without success, I recommend following these steps to resolve the issue:
-
Reconnect Your Website with Rank Math:
- Go to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Dashboard → Help.
- Click on Disconnect Account to disconnect your website from Rank Math.
- Then click on Connect Now and follow the prompts to reconnect your website.
-
Check for Plugin Conflicts:
- Sometimes conflicts with other plugins or themes can cause such errors.
- You can check for conflicting plugins by following this guide: Plugin/ Theme Conflict With Rank Math.
After following these steps, please try accessing the “post” section again in WordPress. If the issue persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.

How to Fix ‘Automatic Update is Unavailable for this Plugin’ Error in Rank Math » Rank MathHello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
To help troubleshoot this further, we’ll need to see your debug log to understand what is causing the critical error on the website and proffer a solution. The debug log is a file that records any errors or warnings that occur on your site. It can help us identify and fix the problem faster.
To share your debug log with us, please follow these steps carefully:
- Open your wp-config.php file. You can find it in the root folder of your site, usually in /public_html/ or /www/.
- Before the line that says /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */, add this code:
// Enable WP_DEBUG mode define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); // Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true ); // Disable display of errors and warnings define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false ); @ini_set( 'display_errors', 0 );
This code will enable the debug mode and create a debug.log file in the /wp-content/ folder of your site.
- Go to your website and try to perform the action that caused the error again. This will trigger the error and generate the debug.log file.
- In the file manager of your cpanel or if you are using FTP, to to the /wp-content/ folder of your site and look for the debug.log file. It should contain some information about the error that occurred. You can get in touch with your web host, they will help you locate the log file.
- Send us a copy of the debug.log file. You can use a service like wetransfer.com to upload it and share the link with us.
We hope these instructions are clear and easy to follow. If you have any difficulty or questions, please let us know. We’re here to help you.
Thank you for using Rank Math.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
