The search results show the keyword from the main menu

    Rank Math free

I’ve designed a homepage with a blog-style layout, emphasizing the display of the latest posts and posts from various categories.

The results from a search engine of the article/blog/post are quite similar to the SEO description from Rank Math. But, I get the problem from search engines Google, Bing, and Yahoo for the homepage. The search engine results show the keyword from the menu or navigation menu such as Home, About us, Contact, etc.

I read this article https://rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/ and check using https://www.heymeta.com. The results are the same as the SEO description that I wrote.

Any recommendations to improve the search engine results? Additionally, I am using plugins from Perfmatters and the “Generate Press” child theme. I’m curious if these plugins and themes have any impact on the SEO results.

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconvenience caused.

The only way to solve this issue is to change the meta description and make it more relevant to your search term. If the search engines find the meta description helpful enough for the search term they will use it in the SERPs. It is highly unlikely that other plugins will affect this. The guide you have shared also has some tips that can help you resolve the issue.

Hope that helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.
