Hello,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with the Google Search Console and the noindex tag on your website. I understand how frustrating this can be.
To resolve this issue, you can follow these steps:
-
Ensure that the ‘Robots Meta’ is set to index in Rank Math. You can do this by navigating to the WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta → Posts/Pages/Products/CPTs.
-
Check if the Discourage Search engines… option is not enabled at WordPress Dashboard → Settings → Reading.
-
Verify that there is no disallow tag present in the robots.txt file that is preventing your page from being indexed. You can check and change the robots.txt file using the robots.txt editor in Rank Math at WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Edit Robots.txt.
-
If your page has been set with noindex incorrectly, you should change Rank Math’s settings to add the index robots meta tag. You can do this by opening the post/page/taxonomy term in the WordPress Editor and ensuring that the Robots Meta is set to Index in the Rank Math Metabox.
After making these changes, you can resubmit your sitemap to Google Search Console as described in this tutorial: Submit sitemap to Google Search Console.
I hope this helps! If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to ask.

hi, I followed these steps but it’s not ok yet
Hello,
I can check that the site is set to Index:

Please clear the cache of your site & server, validate the fix in your GSC account, and wait for Google to crawl the site again.
The issue should be resolved after that. Let us know if it doesn’t. We are here to assist.
hi,Jaideep!
Thanks for your help!
Can you see the noindex tag?
Hello,
Your homepage doesn’t have any no index tag.
Thank you.
Hi,Jitendra!
thanks for your reply!
On my homepage click “Ctrl+U” to open the windows, then click “Crtl+F” and search “noindex”, you can find it.
Hello,
We checked your homepage again but didn’t find any noindex tag there:

However, please note that it is a pretty common mistake to open the page source and search for a noindex tag to see if the page is marked as noindex or not.
Rank Math offers a No Index and No Follow option in the admin menu bar, which could show up in the page’s source code when logged in.

The actual noindex tag will be added like this: <meta robots="noindex">
Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
Thank you very much, Rakibuzzaman!
