I would like to thank you for your time.

Google Console access has been restricted, we’ve noticed. The Google Search Console fails to display the URL after we connect our accounts. The screen remains blank or gray. I have provided a link to the website in question at [moved to sensitive data section] as a point of reference.

Please assist us in resolving this issue, as access to the Google Console is critical to analyzing and optimizing our website.

I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the issue you are facing with connecting to Google Console through Rank Math. We are here to help you resolve it as soon as possible.

I took a look at the specified website and it looks like you’re not using Rank Math or you have deactivated it. Please double-check that the Rank Math plugin is installed and activated.

That said, there are a few possible factors that might be causing this error. Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue:

    • Check if you have enabled the Analytics module in Rank Math > Dashboard > Modules. This module is required to connect Rank Math with Google services.
    • Check if you have connected your Google account with Rank Math in Rank Math > Analytics > Connect Your Rank Math Account. This will allow Rank Math to access your Google Search Console data.
    • Clear your browser cache and cookies, and reload the page. This will ensure that you are seeing the latest data from Google Search Console.

Additionally, please note that Rank Math does not support connection to Google Search Console via domain property, only via a URL prefix. Please make sure that you are using a URL prefix for your website. Also, please make sure that the correct version of your website is verified on Google Search Console (i.e http/https and www/non-www).

If none of the above steps work, you might want to try deleting old analytics data and starting afresh. This might help Rank Math fetch the correct data from Google Search Console. You can learn how to do that from this guide.

We hope this helps you solve your issue. If you have any further questions, please let us know.

    Cheers.

    Hello @furqanshah,

Please make sure that you’ve connected the correct Google account and not connecting to Google Search Console via a domain property but rather a URL prefix and that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).

After that, please try reconnecting your Google Account again from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics, and don’t forget to check all the necessary permission.

If the settings are not getting saved properly, please try saving the settings for the Analytics with a different browser such as Google Chrome. If you’re already using Chrome, then you can try it in Incognito mode just to save the settings.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
