    Hi,

I’m getting below mentioned error on my wordpress dashboard.
    ?taxonomy=post_translations&term=pll_6479e7be3d7e1 to a new url.

I’m using polylang plugin for translation. How to fix it!? Is it deleting my translated data or something? I’m so worried. Please help me in fixing it.

    Waiting for your kind response.

    Warm Regards

  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re getting an error on your WordPress dashboard related to taxonomy post translations. This error means that you have deleted a term (such as a category or a tag) that was used for translation by Polylang. Rank Math is notifying you that you may want to redirect the old URL of the term to a new URL to avoid 404 errors.

This error does not mean that your translated data is deleted or affected in any way. It only affects the term that you have moved to trash. You can check your translations in Polylang > Languages > Strings translations and make sure everything is correct.

To fix this error, you have two options:

    • You can restore the term from the trash and keep using it for translation.
    • You can permanently delete the term and set up a redirection for its URL. To do this, go to Rank Math > Redirections and click Add New. Then, enter the old URL of the term in the Source URL field and the new URL where you want to redirect it in the Destination URL field. Choose 301 – Permanent Move as the redirection type and click Add Redirection.

I hope this helps you resolve the issue. Please let me know if you have any questions or need further assistance.

Thank you for using Rank Math.
