Sitename in Google Search Results

    I need help figuring out how or why my web site name shows as a previous name, we renamed from TeachThought PD to ThoughtStretchers Education late last year. I have changed it in Rankmath and WordPress and everywhere I know how to but it still shows the old name in search results and in the Rankmath settings. It was showing as just the URL in Google search results until this week when it reverted to the old business name.

    Hello,

    The Alternate Name is found in Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/local-seo/#alternate

    Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. If it’s not showing, you must have chosen to use Easy Mode.

    You can follow the steps in this link to switch to Advanced Mode:

    You should use a different alternate name value and give Google some time.
