  • Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you’re still experiencing issues with your sitemaps not updating in Google Search Console. It seems like you’ve already taken several steps to address the problem, including flushing the cache, removing and resubmitting the sitemap, verifying sitemaps and robots.txt, and ensuring that disallow is not enabled for any site.

Given that the last crawl date is December 2, 2023, it’s possible that Google hasn’t yet seen the updated sitemap. In this case, it’s important to be patient and wait for Google to crawl the sitemap.

If you’re still experiencing issues after waiting for a reasonable amount of time, please feel free to reach out to our support team, who are available 24×7 and will help you out as soon as possible.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Can you please share a screenshot of the sitemap report you see from your Google Search Console?

Meanwhile, please follow the steps below and see if this will help:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    3. Apply the following filter code to your site.

    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

Here’s how you can add filter to your WordPress site:https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters

    4. Remove all your sitemaps from GSC and resubmit only the primary sitemap (https://example.com/sitemap_index.xml).

    Looking forward to helping you.

    I have already done everything.

screenshot of the sitemap report –

Note – i’ve just manually re-submitted sitemaps, thats why its showing last read date 12/12/2023, but google stopped crawling my post links since 2 december 2023.

    Hello,

Your post sitemap contains 1000 URLs.

Please note that Google crawls small-sized sitemaps faster. With this in mind, Rank math uses the links per sitemap limit to break down sitemaps into smaller parts. You can also check Google’s guidelines for sitemaps:
    https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/sitemaps/build-sitemap

In this case, you may set your Links per sitemap between 200 and 500 as recommended in Rank Math > Sitemap Settings > General.

Also, you should check your Google Search Console coverage section to determine any issues reported on your URLs that may have prevented your site from being indexed:
    https://support.artlogic.net/hc/en-gb/articles/360016851260-Google-Search-Console-errors-and-coverage-issues

    Hope that helps.

I don’t know if you guys don’t want to help me because I’m a free user or you guys don’t understand what I’m saying.

The latest reply from the support staff makes no sense, I have other sites and they are working fine, they also have 1000 links per sitemap. Support is terrible and completely unrelated to my issue.

I will find the solution to my problem myself, thanks.

    Hello,

We apologize for the inconvenience. We definitely want to help you resolve this as soon as possible, regardless of your subscription tier.

We want to continue investigating this with us but we can’t see the information you shared in the sensitive data section because you have marked this ticket as resolved. Please reshare the information so we can continue looking at this for you.

In any case, the suggestion my colleague shared is actually relevant to this issue. We have noticed that Google sometimes has issues crawling sitemaps with a lot of links, which is why we always suggest breaking down the links into smaller chunks. Even if you have other sites with over a thousand links that Google is crawling successfully, you can still try reducing the links just to see if that’s the cause of the issue.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
