I already delete the previous sitemap plugin, and delete the root sitemap.xml file, then change to 201 save and also save link. Then clear our real site and cloudflare cache. And finally add this code to functions.php: add_filter( ‘rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching’, ‘__return_false’);
The problem is the same, ourdomain/sitemap.xml can’t redirection to ourdomain/sitemap_index.xml. Please check in your side and solve it. Thanks!

Hello,
We’re really sorry for the delayed response.
We might need to take a closer look at the settings.
It seems like you have removed the login details from the sensitive data section. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

Hello,
When we checked your website we can still find the sitemap.xml
in the root folder of the website and that’s the reason the redirection is not working properly.
We renamed the sitemap that you had on your website and now the redirection works as intended.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
Please note that our plugin only parses images from the actual post content and if you have the PRO version it will also parse images from ACF fields.
Looking at both sitemaps it seems to include only category pages which won’t have such images and thus not be included in the sitemap.
Hope this helps clarify your doubts.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Last time you said: “We still don’t have an ETA but our dev team has already added this to the repository of the plugin to improve this situation in the future for users like yourself that use a CPT called “News”.”
———–regarding to the above, have you already solved it?
Hello,
We deeply apologize but we still don’t have an estimated timeframe for this specific concern.
Rest assured that we will inform you once we have an update with regards to this fix or improvement.
We appreciate your time and patience on this one.
Hello,
We currently don’t have an ETA. You can keep an eye on our changelog to get notified of the latest features and updates: https://rankmath.com/changelog/

Thanks.
Regarding to the google news sitemaps issues, have you already fixed that bug yet?
Hello,
We haven’t made the necessary changes to allow the sitemap name change for the News CPT, so this is still not possible.
When there’s an update about this we’ll let you know.
Thank you.
