Sitemap throws HTTP 404 error

    I’ve just installed Rankmath plugin and the sitemap is throwing 404 error I don’t know why it’s happening, I have tried to:
    To save Permalink and tried again.
    Cached the whole site with cloudflare
    Used the provided code on Rankmath site in my .htaccess
    Cached again

    The matter is still there. However, upon installing the XML Sitemap generator, Search Console accepted the sitemap and indexed all of the pages available thereon.

    I’ve already contacted with community’s finest SEOs and still do not know what the answer is

    First, would you kindly create a staging site where Rank Math is enabled so we can check the cause and see if the issue is replicated there? This should also let us debug the issue without making changes to the live website. This article may help in setting up one:

    Hello,

    Thank you kindly for the temporary login.

    It seems that the issue here is that the Sitemap Module was turned off. I’ve turned it on again and the sitemap seems to be working now. Please refer to the Sensitive Data Section for more information.

    Can you also please check on your end if the sitemap works as intended?

    Hello,

    We’ve checked your website and we can confirm that the XML Sitemap Generator for Google plugin you’re using on your website is conflicting with Rank Math and that’s why the sitemap from Rank Math was not working properly. After temporarily disabling this plugin, the Rank Math sitemap was working properly:

    Please note that it is not recommended to use more than one plugin for the same function otherwise it can create conflicts. If you want to use XML Sitemap Generator for Google plugin on your website then you disable the Rank Math sitemap module from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard > Modules.

    Hello,

    So it does look like the Sitemap is fluctuating from showing. I’ve checked this on an incognito and it seems to be appearing quite fine. Please refer to the Sensitive Data Section.

    First, would you kindly try and flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast (please note that you may have to activate Advanced mode first to see the hidden settings):

    Second, It seems like you’re using Cloudflare. Would you kindly exclude the Rank Math Sitemap from Cloudflare’s cache?
