  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing with your Rank Math sitemap not updating correctly. To address this problem, you can follow these steps:

    1. Validate Your Sitemap: Ensure that your sitemap is correctly configured. You can use the Validate XML Sitemap tool to confirm this.

    2. Ensure the Sitemap is Located in the Root Folder: Make sure that your sitemap is in the root folder of your WordPress installation. It should be accessible at a URL like https://yourdomainname.com/sitemap_index.xml.

    3. Check Post Indexing Settings: Verify that the posts you mentioned are set to index. You can do this by going to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta and enabling the Index checkbox for those posts.

If after following these steps the issue persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We checked your “produkt-kategorie/seitlicher-balkonsichtschutz/balkon-sichtschutz-polyester-115g-mit-wunschmotiv-in-jeder-groesse/” page and we can see it is currently set to noindex and the other one is redirecting to your homepage.

Please note that Rank Math only includes the URLs to your sitemap when it is set to index and has a self-referencing canonical URL.

In this case, we suggest you to fix these pages and then check your sitemap again.

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

    Hello Rakibuzzaman,

can you tell me please how i can change the settings to index?

    Hello,

We can see this product category page is returning a 404 error.

In this case, can you please confirm if this category page is present on your website? If so, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
