1. Check if your sitemap is accessible using httpstatus.io. Enter your sitemap URL (https://rankmath.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/An-example-displaying-how-to-validate-a-sitemap-2.png) and check the status to identify any issues preventing your sitemap from being accessed by Googlebot.
1. Ensure that you have submitted the correct sitemap. If needed, submit sitemap_index.xml and ensure that all inner sitemaps like post-sitemap.xml are showing up in your Google Search Console when clicking on sitemap_index.xml file.
If the issue persists after following these steps, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

We checked your sitemap and we can see it is working properly without any issues. In this case, can you please share a screenshot of the error you’re facing with the sitemap? You can use any image-sharing tool like https://imgur.com/upload to share the screenshot with us.

In case, you’re facing the issue on your Google Search Console, please try to follow the steps below and see if that works for you.

1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

Once done, clear your website cache, remove all the submitted sitemap, and resubmit only the /sitemap_index.xml in the Search Console.
