Sitemap is not working

    Hi, I have discovered that for all my new blogposts and all republished blogposts the sitemap isn’t working anymore. I didn’t have changed anything, so I don’t have an idea what is the reason for it.

    Under retrievability the message is no referring sitemaps found.

    What should I do?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    I’ve checked your sitemaps, but they seem to be working fine.

    For initial troubleshooting, please make sure that your sitemap is not getting cached. Please follow these steps:

    1. Ensure you’re using the latest version of your plugins/theme including the Rank Math plugin.

    2. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    3. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    Once done, remove all your submitted sitemaps and resubmit your main sitemap only:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/submit-sitemap-to-google/

    I have done everything that you recommended. In the Search Console I get the message that the sitemap-index was processed without a problem but zero sites had been recognized.

    Hello,

    Can you please share a screenshot of the issue you’re currently facing on your Google Search Console for your sitemap? You can use an image-sharing tool like https://imgur.com to share the screenshot with us.

    However, I’ve checked your sitemap with XML Validation and it is showing “Incorrect http header content-type” error. In this case, please try to follow the steps from this URL and see if that works for you: https://rankmath.com/kb/incorrect-http-header-content-type-sitemap-error/

    Hello,

    I’ve checked your sitemaps, but they are opening fine. However, the sitemap validator tool is still showing the same error message.

    In this case, please check with your web host for any restrictions applied to your site to prevent bots/crawlers from accessing your sitemap:
