Sitemap error

I’m sorry to hear that you are facing an issue with your sitemap showing as an HTML page. This error typically occurs when the server expects an XML sitemap but receives an HTML page instead. To fix this issue, you can follow these steps:

1. Flush Permalinks:

   • Navigate to your WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks.
   • Click the “Save Changes” button without making any changes to flush the permalinks.

   

2. Flush Sitemap Settings:

   • Go to Rank Math SEO -> Sitemap Settings in your WordPress admin area.
   • Adjust the value in the “Links Per Sitemap” field (e.g., change from 200 to 201).
   • If the option is unavailable, ensure you are in Advanced Mode in Rank Math.
   • Click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page.
