Hello Rank Math Support,
Need help with site indexing, we just migrated a website for elevate home services: https://elevatemyhome.com/ and for some reason 2 pages were only indexed. I refreshed the sitemap and added a couple xmls to our robots.txt for better crawling. Can you help us with indexing for this site?
Sincerely,
Chadwick Smith

Hello,
I apologize for the issue you are facing with site indexing for elevate home services at https://rankmath.com/kb/couldnt-fetch-error-google-search-console/ Thank you for providing the details about refreshing the sitemap and updating the robots.txt file.
To address the indexing concern and ensure all pages get indexed properly, I recommend following these steps:
-
Validate Your Sitemap:
- Enter your sitemap URL into the Validate XML Sitemap tool.
- Click VALIDATE SITEMAP to confirm if it is correctly configured.
-
Ensure the Sitemap is Located in the Root Folder:
- Make sure the sitemap is in the root folder of your WordPress installation. It should be in the format: `https://rankmath.com/kb/couldnt-fetch-error-google-search-console/
-
Ensure Your Posts Are Set to Index:
- Check if your posts are set to index in Rank Math SEO settings under Titles & Meta. Enable the Index checkbox and save changes.
If after following these steps the issue persists, please feel free to reply here, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.
Thank you for reaching out to us!

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Please check your Google Search Console coverage section to determine any issues reported on your site: https://support.artlogic.net/hc/en-gb/articles/360016851260-Google-Search-Console-errors-and-coverage-issues
You can share the error message or take a screenshot using this tool and add the link here so we can check as well.
However, please note that it is completely normal for newly published posts/pages to take time before they get crawled or indexed by Google. It depends on a lot of factors. Your posting frequency + the domain authority are just two of the many factors Google considers when indexing some new URLs.
Google assigns a crawl budget to your website depending on these factors (especially these two) and that has a direct effect on how soon or how late your content can get indexed.

not sure why our main rank math sitemap is not being read here? also i added all of our individual sitemaps and they seem to be read and discovered. on the backend of our website i used the instant index tool all of our pages are operating as indexed marked pages accept for things like the accessibility page.Hello,
Google can read the sitemaps. The main sitemap shows zero discovered URLs because Google has already discovered the URLs from the subsitemaps. You should only submit your main sitemap in the GSC account, not the subsitemaps. The subsitemaps are discovered from the main sitemap index. However, since you have already submitted them and Google can discover the URLs, you can keep them there.
For indexing, you will have to wait for Google to crawl and decide to index the URLs. Please keep an eye on the Page Indexing report in your GSC account to make sure there are no issues that can prevent Google from indexing the site.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Yes, I told you there were not any boxes on the back end of the website that would prevent these pages from being blocked. My issue is the main sitemap it never worked to begin with!
Hello,
From your screenshot, your sitemap is already working as the status indicates “Success”, so Google will eventually crawl the rest of the URLs in a matter of time.
Please note that you mentioned that you have just migrated your website so technically, Google will assume that your domain or its content is new. Indexing new content may take time so you will have to wait for a bit.
If Google fails to index your page, it will be shown in this section:
