Single Product Title – how to overwrite Yoast records

    Hello,
    I’ve started to use RankMath and imported data from Yoast SEO during the first configuration.
    Now, when I want to change the structure of Single Product Title – I see that it does not work at all. Products are not updated and it looks like I have to change manualy all the products because there is no %title% %sep% %customterm(pa_kod-producenta)% (as I have in conviguration) but an individual title e.g.: Adidas Hoops 2.0 CMF C sneakers grey adb75959

    Is there a way to clear or update all the seo product titles?
    If there is no such an option, what is the database record name that stores the value?

    Hi Domin,

    Thanks for getting in touch with us.

    Since you imported the information from Yoast – each individual product is setup with that custom titles. I am sorry but you will need to manually change the title of each product since the Global settings only take effect when there is no custom title or meta description set individually.

    Hi Uzair,
    Thank you for the reply. When I have over 2k products on the store maybe it would be hardcore to edit one by one 😉 Maybe a better way is to deinstall the RankMath plugin and install again without yoast setting?

    Or second option – when I bulk delete (OR clear?) all the fields from wp_postmeta meta_key=rank_math_title?

    Would any of the solution work?
    The website is not ready yet – so I can experiment a bit.

    As you feel safe experimenting, you could try your second option, deleting in the database the rank_math_title meta keys. Just be sure to make a backup before, in case you have any issues.

    Thank you very much. I did some tests and it acctually works. So bulk delete from wp_postmeta meta_key=rank_math_title is the easiest way.
