Hi, i have some custom taxonomy pages (if that’s what it’s called, i’m new to this) from Hivepress plugin. I want to change the SEO Titles & Meta but on every such custom taxonomi it says: [taxonomy_name] Archive Titles, [taxonomy_name] Archive Description. My question is, why does it says Archive, it isn’t suppose to be an Archive page.
Those pages are generated from custom attributes I added, there is no Archive option there.
I want this to be found through google search but the word Archive there worries me.

  • Hello, I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with the SEO Titles & Meta for your custom taxonomy pages. I understand your concern about the term “Archive” being used when it’s not supposed to be an archive page.

The term “Archive” is used because these pages are generated for taxonomy terms, and WordPress automatically creates an archive page for each category or custom taxonomy. Even though these pages are not traditional archive pages, they are still considered as such in the context of WordPress.

To change the SEO Titles & Meta for these custom taxonomy pages, you can navigate to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta → Categories and select the specific taxonomy you want to edit. You can then customize the titles and descriptions for these pages using the available variables and settings.
