SEO Notice: A previously published post has been moved to trash. You may redirect https://xxx.xxx/blog-2/ to a new URL.

What does that mean, please? How can I disable this notification? Thank you so much.

  • Hello, we apologize for the inconvenience you’re facing with the SEO notice about a previously published post being moved to trash. This notification means that a post that was previously published on your website has been deleted or moved to the trash, and it is recommended to redirect the old URL to a new one.

To dismiss this notice, you can simply click the close button on the right side of the notification. If the notice fails to dismiss even after clicking the close button, you can try clearing your browser cache and then navigate to Rank Math SEO → Status & Tools → Database Tools inside your WordPress dashboard and click Remove Transients. This should resolve the issue.

If you have any other questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to our support team directly from here, and we’re always here to help. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please note that Rank Math automatically shows this notice whenever you delete a term on your website and you might want to create a redirection from it to preserve the traffic that was going to it.

However, you can simply dismiss the notification by clicking the X button if you don’t want to redirect the URLs. If the notice keeps showing, please head over to Rank Math> Status & Tools > Database Tools and remove transients.

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

No, it doesn’t work. How can I disable this notification, please? Thank you.

    Hello,

Can you please confirm if you’ve tried to clear the Rank Math transients? If the issue still persists, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
