Seo details not working correctly

    The SEO details for my posts were working fine with all my posts showing always at least an 80+ score (out of over 400 posts).

    My last several posts from the past week all show the score as 51 and tell me things to do that I have done in the post already and I haven’t changed how I normally work on my posts. For example, it says to use the focus keyword in sub-headings, which I did, or keyword density is 0 when I have several of the keywords in my post. Plus several other things it says are wrong when they are correct.

    RankMath has worked perfectly for a few years now and I haven’t changed anything on my website, no new plans recently, etc. This trouble started just over 1 week ago.

    Hello,

    Yes, I use WordPress for my website and the Gutenberg Block Editor that comes with it. However, I have been using the Gutenberg Block Editor with RankMath for a few years now and never had this problem and I have not changed the way I write posts.

    Could you please confirm if you’re using the plugin named “Otter – Page Builder Blocks & Extensions for Gutenberg” on your site?

    If so, we have discovered that it is causing the issue here, and some users already have experienced it, where rolling back to the previous version of their plugin fixed it.

    In this case, kindly contact the support folks from that plugin and ask if they have encountered this issue already as they may have a solution for it.

    Our plugin relies on the Content Analysis API and if there’s a third-party custom block that is used for the content, our plugin will not be able to read this.

    You may also share this API documentation with them to ensure full compatibility with Rank Math.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, it worked. I never had a problem with Otter – Page Builder Blocks & Extensions for Gutenberg since I have used it for the past few years alongside RankMath. There was an update 2 weeks ago of the plugin and that is where the problem with RankMath started.

    I have rolled back to the previous version of Otter and RankMath is fine now.
