SEO description not updating

    Hey, how are you?

    I’m using Rank Math SEO on my client’s website http://sbileaseplans.co.uk/. I’ve tried updating the SEO description an endless amount of times for the past few weeks using every method possible. I even considered switching plugins but thought I’d reach out in a final attempt to get this sorted.

    As you can see here: https://i.imgur.com/lQjCWCZ.png, I have updated the Description to say “SBI Lease Plans offers UK-wide Land Registry compliant plans for both residential and commercial properties. Expert knowledge and great customer careĀ guaranteed.”

    But even after waiting a few days it still showed the old text (similar but not the updated version): https://i.imgur.com/eHHRnwT.png

    I also tried updating it in WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Pages > Description, but that also didn’t affect it. And submitting to Instant Indexing didn’t help either.

    All plugins and themes are up to date and I am on the latest version of WordPress.

    I really need this sorted quickly as it is a clients site,

    Please note that Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and shows something from the pageā€™s content that matches the search intent better. In this case, the best you can do is optimize your meta title and description to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.
