SEO Analysis of Product Category Pages

    Rank Math free

    We’re considering switching from Yoast to Rank Math because it seems that Yoast cannot read custom fields added to our WooCommerce product category pages, saying “0 words found”. We haven’t been able to get a clear response from WooCommerce or from Yoast. Can we expect this to work in Rank Math, or is it a generic WooCommerce problem/limitation?     Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

    Unfortunately, that is also the same case with Rank Math.

    Unlike posts/pages/products, it’s not possible to optimize the category or product category archives much:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/focus-keywords-in-categories/

    If you want to add content to the pages and optimize them using the suggestions of our content analysis, you will have to use the pages as the product archives.
