    Rank Math free

Hi. I am trying to add rank math to website but having this error: Seems like your site URL has changed since you connected to Rank Math. I tried to add filter using your already existing answers to users. but you have 2 different codes. I am using code snippet. Could you write me exact code to be added ?

Another question is if I must add website to google account before connecting to rank math? I thought it is creating automatically.

    Best Regards

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support and we’re sorry to hear that you’re having trouble connecting your Rank Math account. We know how frustrating that can be and we’re here to help you fix this issue.

The first thing you need to do is to check your WordPress settings and make sure that your website URL is correct. Sometimes, a small typo or a missing slash can cause problems with the connection.

To do this, please go to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Settings > General. Then look at the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) fields and make sure that both fields match exactly and they match with your current website URL.

If you find any errors, please correct them and save the settings.

Then, please try to disconnect and reconnect your Rank Math account by following these steps:

    1. Go to Rank Math > Dashboard and click on the Disconnect Account button.
    2. Go to Rank Math > Connect and click on the Connect Account button.
    3. Follow the instructions on the screen to log in to your Rank Math account and authorize the connection.

If this doesn’t solve your problem, you can try adding the filter code to your website that will bypass the URL check. This might help if there is some issue with your server configuration or DNS settings.

To add the filter code, please follow this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

The filter code you need to add is this:

    add_filter( 'rank_math/registration/do_url_check', '__return_false' );

You can add it to your child theme’s functions.php file or use a plugin like Code Snippets.

For more information on why this issue happens and how to fix it, you can check this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/problems-while-connecting-account/

We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any questions or need further assistance.

Thank you for choosing Rank Math.

    Hello,

Following up regarding your other question.

Rank Math can help you create a Google Analytics property but you’ll need to already have a Google Analytics account to use Rank Math to create a new Google Analytics property.

After connecting your Google Analytics account, you’ll be able to select your Account and then click the Create new GA4 Property option to create a new Google Analytics property. If you do not have any Google Analytics property then you most likely don’t have a Google Analytics account and you’ll need to sign up here: https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/

We hope this helps clarify, if you need help with anything else please let us know. Thank you for your patience and cooperation
