Search Console not finding my Website

    Hi,

I recently set up an account to improve my SEO potential and receive valuable feedback from Google Analytics but When I go through the process of setting up (through the Setup Wizard) I get “No Results Found” in the Search Console and Analytics section. I have tried three different Browsers (Chrome, Edge and Safari) to see if that would help, disconnected and removed permissions from Google (to try and reconnect) but the same result each time is unavoidable for me at this point.

I could be doing a number of things wrong but I would love to make sure that Analytics are set up properly so I can start to record on traffic and improve as I gain insight to the performance.

    Please advise.

    Best, Jake

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I have trouble almost immediately I do step 1 and reconnect. when it gets back to the Search console page after reverifying which Google account I want to use there is no change in the connection, its stuck saying “No Results Found”. Which makes step 2 impossible because I don’t have a Test Connection option next to Disconnect.

I am not sure if there is another step but I have not been able to get my website to even populate in that list.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

For Search Console, please verify using the URL prefix and ensure that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).

    Prefix

You can follow our guide here to create the URL Prefix property:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/#num-1-1-open-google-search-console

The URL-prefix property also helps keep your sitemap in sync with Google Search Console as we submit it automatically for you. In addition, the domain property won’t work correctly on some sections of the Analytics module such as the IndexStatus.

Regarding the Analytics drop-down, this can happen if you haven’t created a property for your website. Could you please confirm if you have already created a GA4 property for your website?

If not yet, please visit this page (https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/) and sign up for a Google Analytics account and property, then reconnect your Google Account so the new Analytics account will reflect in that section.

Let us know how this goes.

Hi, thanks for the response. I have gone through these steps above and was able to connect the Search Console (Thank you very much!) I am still having problems with the analytics section. I created a GA4 property but when I reconnect it does not find the connection.
