Schema markup – Homepage

    Hello there,

    Our SEO agency points out that we currently have a “Itempage” Schema for the homepage bubliq.com (only this page). However, they suggest us to use an “Organization” schema instead.

    They have provided us the Schema Markup code, and suggest us to insert it in the header or via a schema plugin.

    Anyway, we just wanted to touch base with you, to figure out how we can do this in the smartest possible way. Would adding the Schema Markup to the header conflict with any current Schema Markup configured via Rank Math?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

    You can use and customize this filter to add that to your schema in the free version:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#extend-json-ld-data

    However, upon checking your homepage, the organization schema is already applied and nested to the product schema. Please refer to the screenshot attached in the sensitive data section.

    You can also use this tool to verify that: https://validator.schema.org/

    Our SEO agency has suggested us to paste in the following snippet to add a traditional Organization Schema markup.

    We would like to know how this markup differs from the one we already have? Moreover, how do we add it?

    Any help is much appreciated.

    To add that custom Organization schema to your site, you can use and customize the filter code added in the sensitive data section.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply.

    The filter you added in the sensitive data area is somehow corrupt and broke our site completely.
    Would you mind reviewing the file again and perhaps give us some feedback on why this is happening?

    We followed your guide on how to add the snippet. We used option 2 and added the file via FTP.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

    Yes, there’s a missing character in the filter I have provided in the sensitive data section. Please update line 5 from id to @id.

    Also, ensure that the rank-math.php file has an opening tag <?php on the first line like in this image
