Saving loop (infinite waiting time) 404 sitemap issue

    Hello
    I just installed rank math and i have few issues on it.
    I migrated from yoast SEO and from the wizard i noticed an infinite load time when saving to next step.
    Now everytime i try to save any setting in rank math panel, i get infinite loop loading.

    I also have 404 issues on sitemap generation.

    I already tryed to save permalink and clear caches (w3 total cache and varnish server).

    UPDATE: i succeded in creating the main xml, but all the sub-sitemaps are not working at all (404)

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    I have checked your sitemap and it is loading perfectly fine from my end. Your issue is usually caused by caching.

    Could you please do the following:

    1. Head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks

    Hit the save button once.

    2. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings

    Hit the save button once.

    That should fix the issue.

    You should also consider adding the sitemap URLs to be excluded from caching in future.

    If it doesn’t, please do let us know so we can look at this further.

    Nvm, fixed!

    now i keep getting infinite loading when saving any setting in rank math.

    Hello,

    Are you using WordFence? If yes, you should make sure it doesn’t block the WordPress REST API calls done by Rank Math since we have seen cases where WordFence was blocking Rank Math API Calls (making it unable to save).

    If, even after trying it, your issue is not solved, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    I have tested your site with only Rank math and your theme enabled in troubleshooting mode and you can check attached screencast, the settings are getting saved successfully without much delay.

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

    Please let us know if you find the culprit.

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
