    We have not been able to save the SEO title of the page for some time now, when reloading it is always reset.

    In the console a 404 error is displayed (screenshot below)

    The rest API error suggests that this is related to your server environment. Please get in touch with your host and have them check whether they need to bypass some rewrite rules for this to work.

    The hosting support says: The plugin developer must tell which rule should be missing. Please help us with this problem.

    Hoster:
    The so called RewriteRule can be found in the htaccess file of your WordPress page. You can find the htaccess file via FTP on your websever in the directory, to which the domain refers. I checked if I can see which rule is doing what, but since we are neither WordPress experts nor web designers, we cannot really see what is causing the error message. The plugin developer should have a look at this so he can tell which command does what. You could give the plugin developer the complete content of the htaccess. So he would have your settings before his eyes.

    As a possible help in the internet they say that within WordPress you should save the permalink structure again, but we can’t say if this will help.
    You can find the permalink settings in WordPress under “Settings > Permalinks”.
    By entering a certain link you can check if the API interface is blocked: http://www.website.de/wp-json

    But this does not seem to be the case, otherwise this page would not be accessible.

    But I’m coming up so the REST API is usable. Unfortunately we can’t really see anything there.

    Hello,

    The Rest request is not supported on your site. Rank Math modules enable/disable is not working.

    Please contact your server team and ask them to enable the support for the Rest request. That should fix the issue.

    It looks like one of the 31 plugins active on your site is blocking the Rest API request.

    I checked with the Health Check plugin, the post-update works fine when only Rank Math plugin is active.

    To determine that, can you please follow this troubleshooting guide?

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
