    Hey Rank Math,

So I’ve been using your plugin for a few months now but I think I have set it up wrongly. In your tutorial I see that there is a category called “review”, but when I go to my rank math rich snippets it’s not there. Therefore I would like to ask you, how do you categorize these kinds of posts?

Most likely a product with the review score entered right? But at description it keeps on giving the excerpt of another post, and not of the correct one. Even though the entered summary is correct.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

Unfortunately the review schema was recently deprecated by Google and it is no longer viable to use it since it is not supported.
You will need to set the schema type to blog post for the referenced link.
Please take a look at this page for more info on this: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-fix-review-schema-errors/

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Thanks a lot Michael, that helped me add the score. Though I wonder, if I write a review about a product but I do not sell the product and I do not have woocommerce. What I do have is a website where I review tech, do I need to classify the post (product review) as a “product”?

Additionally, is there a way to show the “rating” of a product in a different way than all the way on top, bottom or both?

    Hello,

Yes, you could use the product schema as suggested here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/thread/15442688?hl=en but be sure to include all the product information since if not you will get errors in the product schema.

You can use the option to use the custom shortcode and place it wherever you want in the page:

    null

    Looking forward to help you.

    Thank you Alberto,

Though I was wondering if it was possible to tell rankmath: “Use this score as snippet” for example. Because I think we can both agree that this looks ugly. Is there a way to make it look nicer or something?

And every time when I edit my page, the “Product In-Stock” changes back from 0 to 1. Which is quite annoying.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

We don’t have a feature like “use that score as the snippet” but could try to customize it by using CSS, I am sure you could get good results.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
