  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Can you please share some of your affected amp page URLs so that we can check the issue further for you?

However, please note that if you’ve configured your website to use the query parameter /?amp for AMP pages and disabled the AMP plugin on your website, then no redirection is required.

When a visitor lands on these pages, the query parameter will be ignored, and the browser will load the canonical non-amp page for your visitor. In this case, no 404 error will be captured, and you need not worry about duplicate content issues since the page points out the canonical URL.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Sorry for the delay, actually it’s not only for amp, for any pattern redirecting to the parent page is not working, instead, it’s redirecting to the home page.

    https://rankmath.com/kb/redirect-all-amp-pages-to-non-amp-pages/
Destination URL: /$1 <= This rule makes it redirect to the homepage, not to the parent page without parameters.

    I hope it’s clear.

    thanks!

    Hello,

Please share the redirections you have created for the affected URL so we can check this further for you. You can share it in this structure:

    Source:
    Redirection Type:
    Destination URL:

Or, you can share the screenshots of the redirection you have created by using this tool: https://imgur.com/upload

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

check the followings from the settings inside the website.

    https://prnt.sc/0d-pK3X4RDqn <= creating a redirect
https://prnt.sc/zfEnQgKta-8s <= after saving the redirect it becomes like this.

    I hope this is clear.

    thanks!

    Hello,

Since you have added the redirection using .htaccess, we can’t test this issue properly. Can you please share your website admin login with us so we can check this deeper?

Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
