Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
Could you please if you’re importing new redirections? Meaning, the redirections don’t exist yet on your Rank Math redirections.
If so, then you may need to remove the values under the id
column (number 1 from your screenshot). The values under the id column should match the id’s on your Rank Math redirections, so if they are new redirects, then they should be empty.
Let us know how this goes.
Thank you.
Dear Reinelle,
Thank you for your fast response.
I removed all the values in the ID column, unfortunately I got an error.
Even when I removed the whole ID column (because the source and destination column are the only one that are mandatory) I the following error: Nothing to import or no data for import found.
The .csv file looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/S0RDzcx
I would love to hear from you.
Hello,
The CSV file looks fine. Would you please share your CSV file so that we can test it on our end. You can use tools like (https://wetransfer.com/) to share the file with us.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you
Hello,
Thank you for you response. I have sent you the file via a sensitive data message.
I would love to hear from you
Thank you.
Hello,
I’ve checked the CSV, but it seems that the separator is a semicolon ;
If you check closely at the end of each line, there are semicolons, and since this is a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file, there shouldn’t be any semicolons handling the separation of fields or lines.
However, I’ve updated the file and uploaded it in the link attached in the sensitive data section which you can use to import.
Also, I’ve modified the category values since it should use the slug of the redirect category you have created. Please check if they match your website redirects category.
Hope that helps.
Thank you.
Dear Reinelle,
Thanks a lot for fixing this problem. I was not aware of this but will always check from now on.
When I am now uploading these redirections, the import seems stuck now for about an hour: https://imgur.com/a/2OQfWNj.
I checked if the redirect category matches.
It seems nothing is happening..
Would love to hear from you!
Hello,
The redirect seems to be working on our end upon testing.
In this case, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Thank you.
