The reason why your redirection failed is that you were trying to redirect a page that is controlled by WordPress itself, namely wp-login.php. This page is part of the WordPress core and it handles the login process for your site. Rank Math Redirection cannot override this page, nor can it redirect other core pages like wp-admin, wp-signup, etc.
You will need a different plugin or method to redirect these pages. For example, you can use a plugin like WPS Hide Login or Loginizer to change the login URL to something else. Or you can use a plugin like Theme My Login to create a custom login page on your site.
