Hello,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with redirecting your original image URLs to your CDN subdomain. It seems like you’ve set up the redirection correctly, but it’s not working as expected.
Based on the information you’ve provided, it looks like you’re using Rank Math for your SEO needs. To redirect your original image URLs to your CDN subdomain, you can use the Redirections feature in Rank Math.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you set up the redirection:
- Navigate to the Redirections section in your WordPress admin dashboard under Rank Math SEO.
- Click on Add New Redirection.
- Enter the original image URL (source URL) and the destination URL, along with selecting the redirection type as 301 Permanent Move.
- Ensure that the status is set to ACTIVATE.
If you’ve already followed these steps and it’s still not working, please ensure that the Redirections module is enabled under WordPress Dashboard ā Rank Math SEO.
If you’re still facing issues after following these steps, please feel free to reach out to our support team directly from here, and weāre always here to help.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

The EXACT source URL is: https://spanishunraveled.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/no-manches-anger.png
Destination URL: https://cdn.spanishunraveled.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/no-manches-anger.png
Redirection Type: 301
Status: ACTIVATE
Iāve set everything up, but it doesnāt seem to redirect the original URL when I put it into Google as it would a normal page.
Any help would be much appreciated š
Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
Unfortunately, Rank Math doesnāt support redirecting the URLs of the /wp-content/ path and thatās why the redirection rule is not working.
In this case, you may have to use .htaccess file for such redirections.
Hereās how you can edit the .htaccess file using Rank Math:

Please do take a backup before editing your .htaccess as it is a sensitive file.
You may also get in touch with your web host for assistance with this kind of redirection.
Hope that helps.
