Redirect to new category name?

    Hello, I am launching a new website and I have my products at /products/{product-name}. My old site structure is /product/{product-name} (without the “s”). I installed RankMath and enabled the redirects module, but I am not sure how to set up the rule to point old traffic to the new structure. I believe I may need to use the RegEx option, but am not clear on how to write the source and destination structures. Please advise.

    Thank you for the reply, but this does not help. I already went through the online documentation and video but I am having issues with the RegEx needed. The examples shown do not clearly depict the scenario I am encountering. This is why I opened a ticket. Please advise on what I needed to redirect users from /abc/{slug} to /xyz/{slug}

    Hello,

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

    In this case, you can setup a regex redirect with this structure:

    Source: products/(.*)
Type: Regex
Destination: https://yourwebsite.com/product/$1

    Please update the actual domain in the redirection.

    Thank you. This answered my question and resolved my problem. The only thing I would add is to make sure you clear any caching you may have on your server to make sure the new redirects take into effect.
