Hello,
I’ve created a redirect using RankMath using the following settings:
Domain: https://rallypoint-ca.withyouwithme.com/
Source URLs
cwep-stp1/ [Exact]Destination URL
https://withyouwithme.com/blog/building-a-sustainable-pipeline-of-it-talent-for-the-canadian-governmentRedirection Type
301 Permanent MoveStatus
ActivateThe redirect is working if the backslash at the end of the URL is not included – https://rallypoint-ca.withyouwithme.com/cwep-stp1 – however, if the backslash is included, the redirect does not take effect – https://rallypoint-ca.withyouwithme.com/cwep-stp1/
If I click on the ‘View’ link in the RankMath Redirections dashboard, the redirect works, but the Debugger is displaying /cwep-stp1 and not /cwep-stp1/.
I’ve tried changing the redirect from ‘Exact’ to ‘Starts with’ but that didn’t work either.
Can you please help fix this issue as it’s a broken link and is creating a lot of problems on a page we don’t manage.

I can check that the URL without trailing slash is redirection to https://landing.withyouwithme.com/cyber-workforce-enablement-program/, which is returning a Connection Timed Out error.
Please check your .htaccess file and our plugin’s Redirections module and remove if you see any rule for the non-trailing slash version.
If you are not able to find anything, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

I’ve checked the source URL, and both the non-trailing slash and trailing slash versions of the URL are already redirecting fine.
If it’s still not redirecting on your end, please clear your website and browser’s cache for troubleshooting.
Regarding the .htaccess, since your site’s using Nginx server, you can ignore that message in the Edit .htaccess option from Rank Math because Nginx servers don’t use .htaccess file. The server rules are managed in the server configuration file.
