Hello,
Apologies for the confusion.
The URLs you have initially shared are exactly the same. There’s no redirect happening as the URL is opening fine. Can you please check if there’s a typo with them?
Also, please share the report from Cloudflare so we can check and advise accordingly. You can upload screenshots using this tool and add the link here.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you for responding. I will try and duplicate the error message on Cloudflare – when I did the speed test it clearly said the following – try and re-run the speed test without redirect – the reason it is slow is because your site is redirecting https://www.phasesafrica.com to https://www.phasesafrica.com. I am going over to see if it will say the same thing. This is not the only speed test that told me http://www.phasesafrica.com is redirecting.
Ok I have the screen shot and read it slowly this time. I am terribly sorry, I made a mistake reading ti too fast. My developer placed this redirect into my site years years ago when he designed this. Not even sure I need it, do I? I will write what Cloudflare said “The page may not be loading as expected because your test URL https://phasesafrica.com was redirected to https://www.phasesafrica.com Try testing the second URL directly.” My speed test is good on Cloudflare – but on this site https://pagespeed.web.dev/ it is terrible all in the orange mobil and desktop. How come the two different test are miles apart? Sorry for having wasted your time with this issue. My best, Noleen
Hello,
We checked your site and can see that all URLs are redirecting to the https://www.
variant.
Meanwhile, regarding the different test reports generated by Cloudflare and PageSpeed Insights, that is because they both have different methods of testing. Cloudflare’s Speed Test reflects the performance benefits of using their CDN, but PageSpeed Insights focuses on a broader set of optimization metrics that are crucial for SEO and user experience.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need my assistance with anything else.
