Hi, I created a redirect for my page /contact/ and later removed it and disable the redirection feature. It’s now causing fatal error to my /contact/ page. I’ve tested if I deactivated the Rank Math plugin, the page is working. Thanks.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and we are sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Can you please share the error log with us?

Having the error log file will give a clear idea of why this might be happening.

You can follow this guide to enable debugging in WordPress https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/ or you can get in touch with your web host, and they will help you locate the log file.

However, if you’re not able to find the error log, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section so that we can check the issue further for you.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

Hi, I found out the cause of the error.

I ran the gettext add_filter function to replace the text ‘Tags’ using WPCode and insert it after post content “Insert snippet at the end of the post content.”

This caused the fatal error “Cannot redeclare posts_gettext() (previously declared in ……” in the debug log.

This erorr only happens to those 3 pages that I previously redirected using RankMath Redirect feature and later on deleted.

The error was solved after I insert the snippet to the header / footer.
