Hello, I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with Google not updating your site information. It’s great that you’ve already removed the old sitemap and uploaded a new one on the Search Console.
To request Google to reindex your homepage, you can follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Google Search Console.
- Enter your homepage URL into the provided field and click Enter on your keyboard.
- Next, click REQUEST INDEXING to inform Google of the update you made to your site.
If you have already configured Google’s Instant Indexing, you can head over to Rank Math SEO → Instant Indexing and enter your homepage URL into the provided field. Then, click the Send to API button.

These steps should help speed up the process of getting Google to recrawl your site and update the information. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reach out to our dedicated support team here. We’re available 24/7 and will be happy to help you out.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Can you please share your website URL so we can check for you?
In the meantime, please check your Google Search Console coverage section to determine any issues reported on your site: https://support.artlogic.net/hc/en-gb/articles/360016851260-Google-Search-Console-errors-and-coverage-issues and share the screenshot here using this tool.
You can also request the indexing of your pages by passing it through the URL Inspection Tool and request it there: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/crawling-indexing/ask-google-to-recrawl. The tool will also let you know if there are any issues on the URL that prevent them from getting indexed.
You can read more about that here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9012289?hl=en
Meanwhile, we have provided some guides you can follow to ensure your website keeps showing up on Google search results: https://rankmath.com/kb/google-index/

Please note that crawling and indexing can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days/weeks. Be patient and monitor progress using the URL Inspection tool.
Changing your SEO title and description does not affect the indexing of your pages, but has to do with the ranking of your website in search engine result pages.
Hope this helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
Hello,
Please note that it is a pretty common thing with Google these days. It happens with 70% of the results that even if everything’s fine, Google decides to show a different meta information for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.
To understand more about this, please check this article: https://rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/
Looking forward to helping you.
