Reconnect to false changed URL

    when i logged into wordpress this morning, rankmath wanted me to reconnect due to a changed url. but it hasnt changed. it wants to connect a digit number url i dont know. if i click the link in the rank math popup, it isnt working and shows an error wesite.

    This usually happens when there’s a mismatch in the domain name.

    For initial troubleshooting, ensure that you are using the latest version of the Rank Math plugin. You may refer to our changelog page here: https://rankmath.com/changelog/free

    Then, go to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > General, and make sure that the “WordPress Address” and “Site Address” have the same setup.

    Meaning both URLs have the same exact protocols. They should be matching and not have a mismatch.

    Once done, reconnect again your site.

    If the issue still persists after following the steps above, please add this filter on your site and connect again:

    /**
     * Filter whether we need to check for URL mismatch or not.
     */
    add_filter( 'rank_math/registration/do_url_check', '__return_false' );

    Then, monitor again if the website is still getting disconnected.

    ok. i deleted and reconnected again. seems to work. but now i cant add an opengraph picture e.g. in titel and meta. the button to “Add or Upload File” doesnt do anything? Feels a little buggy.

    We’ve checked from our end and we can see the button to add the OpenGraph Thumbnail image is working properly without any issues. If it is not working on your website then it could be caused by conflicting plugins/themes on your website. Kindly make sure you are using the latest version of all the plugins and themes, please update if not yet.
