Recipe Schema Markup in Two languages

Hello, I have a bilingual foodblog in two languages (English and German). I used Translatepress plugin to translate my posts. However, I have a problem with the recipe schema markup in German. The rich result shows up that there are still some parts not translated to German. So It can’t be indexed by Google with the German recipe schema. Are there any solutions? Can the RankMath pro help?

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

Please note that the Schema properties and predefined values added by our plugin could not be translated because they have to be in English to comply with the guidelines of Schema.org.

If you wanted to display the Schema details in the front end in your site’s language, then you may have to add them manually as you are adding the other content to the pages.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Thank you for your reply.

Could you show me how I can add the Recipe Schema in German manually? I guess I could make it with the Rankmath pro version?

    Hello,

Yes, modifying the properties in the pre-defined schema is only available using Rank Math PRO.

Here’s a link for more information:

    Looking forward to helping you.
