RankMath Scheduled Tasks

    Hi,

    I have noticed that under Tools > Scheduled Actions that the RankMath weekly scheduled tasks for data fetching are failing. The task hooks are rank_math/analytics/data_fetch, and there are 5 of them, all failed. the logs say:

    2023-05-03 20:16:06 +0000

    2023-05-03 20:16:06 +0000
    action failed via WP Cron: Scheduled action for rank_math/analytics/data_fetch will not be executed as no callbacks are registered.

    OR

    action created
    2023-06-06 19:55:30 +0000
    action started via Async Request
    2023-06-06 19:55:30 +0000
    action failed via Async Request: Scheduled action for rank_math/analytics/data_fetch will not be executed as no callbacks are registered.
    2023-06-06 19:55:30 +0000
    This action appears to be consistently failing. A new instance will not be scheduled.

    Is there a fix for this? Let me know if you need any other information.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

    Try reconnecting your Google account. Remove RankMath’s app from your Google apps permissions: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

    Then, head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and reconnect the Google service and this time, ensure that all permissions are checked:

    gsc
    gsc

    If that doesn’t help, and these scheduled actions are still failing frequently, your website’s Cron feature may not be working properly as intended. Please contact your hosting provider for that.

    Thanks Jeremy, I think it might be my Cron jobs after all, as I have noticed that other scheduled tasks aren’t running…
