We have added API access to the content analysis in the Rank Math plugin to make content from page builder plugins readable by Rank Math.
You would need to contact the developer of the plugin you mentioned by showing the following link:

Thank you for your response.
This is the plugin that I’m using to put content in different tabs: https://wordpress.org/plugins/vc-tabs/
As per your suggestion, I’ve forwarded a request with the developers of this plugin but this is totally under their control if they integrate with RankMath plugin or not.
Is there really nothing that can be done from your end in this regard?
I really don’t want to go back to using Yoast but if this problem persists, unfortunately, I’ll be forced to do so 🙁

There is no workaround, unfortunately.
With that said, it should be easy for the VC Tabs plugin provider to add the compatibility as we assume they have already done it for Yoast and that is why Yoast is able to see the content in those shortcodes.

I reached out to them via email and the contact form on their website. This was 2 days ago but haven’t heard from them since.
Due to this delay, my pages are disappearing from Google. I have a fairly new site and I stopped seeing a few pages on any SERP of Google 2 days after moving on to Rankmath (not sure if this is the reason but this is definitely one of the reasons why I’m not able to setup RM).
This is really heartbreaking for my team as we’ve put in a lot of effort for on-page SEO and just can’t start with off-page as we are caught up with this 🙁

Please note that Rank Math not reading your VC content has nothing to do with your SEO. We read what is in your backed (which it seems is shortcodes) while Google sees what you see in your browser. This is a limitation with all SEO plugin but it doesn’t affect your SEO.
If you are not getting the visibility, it is not because Rank Math can’t read the tabs. It could be something else. Maybe you got hit by the recent Google update?

So, you can completely ignore the score as the score is there only for your reference anyway and doesn’t affect your actual rankings. Treat it only as a to-do list, nothing more. Don’t try to live by it and don’t follow the tests religiously.
If the developer doesn’t reply to you, a user – I don’t think they would reply to us, a 3rd party.

People started seeing changes on their website after 5th/6th May, which was when the May core update rolled out. I got my webpages indexed hardly 15 days before that so I didn’t expect to see any changes.
But the pages disappeared from Google 2 days after switching to RM (15 May).
Regarding VC tabs plugin support, I texted them on their Facebook messenger yesterday and got a response. I retyped my query and hoping for a response today.

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do from our end other than wait for them to add the plugin integration.
