Hello,
I apologize for the inconvenience you are facing with Rank Math not recognizing the external link in your Elementor post.
Based on the provided screenshot, it seems that the link you added to the word “malnutrition” is set as a “rel=follow” link. Rank Math specifically checks for external links with a “dofollow” attribute to ensure they are counted for SEO purposes.
To resolve this issue and have Rank Math recognize the external link, please ensure that the link is set as “dofollow” instead of “nofollow.” Once you update the link attribute to “dofollow,” Rank Math should be able to detect and count it correctly.
If you need further assistance or have any more questions, feel free to ask. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Hello,
It seems that you have enabled the “Nofollow External Links” on your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Links.
In this case, please add the outgoing links to the “Nofollow Exclude Domains” to whitelist these domains from being set to nofollow:

Hope that helps.
Hello Reinelle, no my settings are not set to unfollow in global settings.
I suspect that Rankmath may not identify all the content from Elementor. The link I’m refering to is at the very end of my content ? could it be the case.
We have tons of pages with external link, and it’s the first time that I encounter such issue.
Hello,
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
Hello is it safe because the website is running and we can’t imagine a cut down
Hello,
Yes, it is completely safe, and we will only check our plugin’s settings. We still recommend backing up your site before sharing the login details.
Looking forward to helping you.
